What time is the full show? I am not seeing it on the schedules :(

  2. joyce March 2, 2012

I would love to go to the full show at UCB but I don’t see it listed on their website and they have two theatres so I need to make sure I get tickets for the right thing. Chris, can you get details for us since Andy can’t? I did try calling them and the person I spoke to had “never heard of that person” and when I said “he’s John Oliver’s comedy partner, they do The Bugle together” she said “none of that is ringing bells.” Ug, children.

If I were held hostage by Andy, I think I would be more likely to attend a show.

Thirded on the UCB show, have to know when and which. Please let us know!!

Just terrible. I really want to go to the show, but I live in Arkansas. The sad part is that the distance isn’t even stopping me, its my work schedule at the hospital that is the obstacle. I would gladly pay hundreds in gasoline to buy a 5 dollar ticket to watch this bullshit fly.

Here is the link for my one-man show at the UCB Theatre, 8pm on Thursday 14 March. http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/view/3047

The showbiz event of the year. Perhaps of the decade. Maybe even of the Millennium. So far. We’ll let history be the judge of that.

I’m also doing an extended set at The Duplex, Greenwich Village, on Thursday 15th March:
    http://www.theduplex.com/webcalendar/view_entry.php?id=6558&date=20120315

And shorter spots at Hot Tub, 8pm on 12 March (http://www.ticketfly.com/event/99277/), and Whiplash, at UCB Theatre, 11pm, Monday March 12 (http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/view/1858).

See you all at all of those gigs. Or else.

UCB info is up on their site. Andy tweeted it: http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/view/3047

  8. FBirch March 4, 2012

What about the Hot Tub and Duplex appearances those are still happening, right?

  9. FBirch March 4, 2012

This is going to be about the best week ever — I just happen to be going to New York for a week with my new girlfriend AND now I’m seeing Andy at least twice. Right on, MFs!

  10. joyce March 4, 2012

I believe they are still happening yes. And John Oliver’s New York Stand-up is also happening. Andy is there on the 10th. not sure why that isn’t listed here. Tickets are free and you have to fill out a form so they can evaluate your demographic qualifications. Then they give you a “ticket” that doesn’t guarantee you will actually get in. So that could be why.

Oh, t-shirts for buglers? What are we gonna wear to the show? I am thinking “Andy Zoltman sister wife” but it would be more funny on a man. It would warm my heart to see several people wearing a shirt saying that.

Is Andy on for the Knitting Factory on the 10th? I didnt see anything on their site suggesting that he was performing….

  13. Andrew March 9, 2012

    Andy,
While you’re here in the USA, why don’t you come on down to D.C. and do a gala performance of “The Congressman’s Penis”?

  14. kinkminos March 12, 2012

andy, being the number one (mainly cos i seem to be the only) pakistani bugler, i feel duty bound to apply for a u.s. visa, spend a thousand dollars or more for a flight to new york, another few hundred dollars or so for accommodation, for the dubious privilege of seeing you perform live.
all of which i am not going to do cos, to be honest, i just can’t be bothered. (the fact that i can’t afford to does not enter into the equation editor.) (i mean i tried, but it just would allow itself to be entered.) (damn microsoft equation editor.)

i shall content myself, instead, with watching the asia cup live on tv, and waiting for the next egg citing episode of the world cricket podcast, which seems unlikely to see the light of day before bugle episode 187.
    : (
and to all you lucky buglers who WILL see andy live, i shall just call all of y’all chris, and say “fuck you!”

  15. kinkminos March 12, 2012

chris, i’m relying on you to bleep out the endearment above.

  16. SejongCamus March 16, 2012

No!! I just found out about Andy’s shows, and it’s 9:56pm on the 15th — just 3 hours after the last one!!

You guys are hilarious — I’ve been listening to your podcasts for 2 years now. Andy, come back to New York soon! Me and my wife want to see your show. That I live in Boston wouldn’t matter – we’d take a train down just to see it (was actually about to buy tickets to come see one on Sat, if there was a show on then).

Man, wish I hadn’t missed the bugle the week before this one, or I would have known. Come back Andy! Or rather, ditch England for the US — you’ve got to admit, a country that looks like a fat hamburger with a goatee has got to be a better place for comedy than one that looks like a witch on a broomstick :)
